Dermal Fillers are made from Hyaluronic Acid, which is a natural substance, found in our bodies. Hyaluronic Acid holds 1,000 times it’s weight in water, and is responsible for skin elasticity and skin hydration. As we age, our bodies production of Hyaluronic Acid depletes, leading to skin ageing.
Dermal Fillers help to smooth and plump facial lines that appear as a result of loss of collagen and elastin. Common areas where fillers can be used include the nasal folds (nose to mouth lines), chin, lips, cheeks and the glabellar region between the eyes.
Dermal Fillers can be used in conjunction with other treatments such as Anti Wrinkle Injections and other aesthetic facial treatments. Your Skincare Aesthetician will advise you as to the best treatments suited to your skin.

Dermal filler treatments are essentially injections of hyaluronic acid into areas prone to wrinkles and fine lines, or where folds or depressions in the skin have appeared.
The hyaluronic acid works to plump up the skin in the targeted areas, removing any wrinkles, depressions and folds.
Whereas Anti Wrinkle Treatments works to stop muscle movement (which causes the wrinkles), dermal fillers will remove existing skin imperfections. The two treatments can be combined, often enhancing the results of both.
